Bacolod

On February 22-24 2022, Next Gen organized it’s first sortie in Bacolod, Negros Occidental.

Next Gen turned over donations for BBM to District 5 for relief from Typhoon Odette. A portion of these goods were donated by the Taiwanese Government, in which Next Gen Hope, the relief arm of Next Gen, helped facilitate the arrival of these goods, with the unwavering support from the team of our logistics partner, Pacific Roadlink Inc. (PRLI). The Next Gen team was greeted by congresswoman Marilou Arroyo. Congresswoman Arroyo expressed the support of the 5th district of Negros Occidental for the BBM-Sara Uniteam, as well as extended her gratitude to the organization and graciously conversed with each and every member of Next Gen present at the turnover.

February 23, BBM arrived in Bacolod and headed to the welcome lunch at Kucina Maria. After the welcome lunch, the party then proceeded to join the caravan which would lead to to the rally held at Breadco. BBM, together with his son Vincent Marcos, rode the Jeep that was provided by Next Gen donors.

The rally started around 5:30 PM, and was attended by approximately 30,000 people. The Uniteam senatorial slate were all present with the exception of Sen. Harry Roque, Sen. Loren Legarda and Sen. Miguel Zubiri. Mayor Sara Duterte spoke to the people of Bacolod about continued reforms of the Duterte administration. Tony Gonzaga performed a musical number, Roar by Katy Perry, after which Vice- Governor Ferrer addressed the people and introduced Sen. Bongbong Marcos, but not without performing a musical number himself. BBM inspired the crowd with his message of unity, and everyone joined together to dance and sing to the rock version of Bagong Lipunan. After the rally, the Next Gen team congregated and had dinner together at Hacienda Bubog in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the support and trust of the BBM headquarters.
